Volatility stirred this past week, but it wouldn’t be applied to a clear direction for the benchmark assets. With the Dow and S&P 500 unsure of their direction having dropped back from record highs and the Dollar fresh off a 5-day rally to within reach of its own two-year high, technical traders are focused on whether we see break or reversal. What they should really contemplate is the capacity of follow through.
