S&P 500 Climbs after FOMC Minutes, Nikkei 225 and ASX 200 Open Mixed

The S&P 500 index closed at an all-time high as the FOMC minutes suggested that Fed officials are “patient” in tapering stimulus. Asia-Pacific markets are positioned to open mixed.
