Nasdaq 100 Soars, but Asia-Pacific Stocks Fail to Catch Up. Gold Rises

The Nasdaq Composite climbed 0.76% to 11,466, extending its upward trajectory to a record high. Asia-Pacific stocks, however, failed to catch up with the rally. Gold prices rose.
